Franda said "You will love the Sonesta. It is definitely a five star cruise ship.the Sonesta is truly top notch. we were on the Star Goodess and it was really nice. I booked the Mozart room, upper deck and was very satisfied. It was wonderful and very quiet. Meal time is a beautiful buffet-type meal with wonderful salads and dinner options. If you are on a special diet, just let them know and they will fix whatever you need. Also, if you have something on the buffet one night that you really love and it is not available the next night, they will honestly make it for you if you mention it to your table captain. There is assigned seating so you always know your table will be available. We chose to dress casually for dinner but other than bathing suits anything is probably okay. I think you would feel more comfortable in casual slacks or skirt. We were on the Moon Goodess and it was really nice. There are not many people on the ship so that makes it even better. All the rooms have balconies and that is nice for the one day that you are sailing most of the day.

This was a FANTASTIC experience. Food, crew, river scenery, daily sightseeing tours and guide were all incredible. We were the only three passengers . These smaller boats can anchor in out-of-the-way spots on the Nile where bigger boats can't, so every night was quiet and peaceful. One night we had a bonfire and dinner right on the riverbank, treated to ethnic singing and drumming by the crew while we ate. It's a placid river and for those concerned, I don't think you could get any motion sickness. Jasmine is the most luxurious and alluring cruise Dahabeyya of its kind. The countryside beautiful beyond belief and the three-night, four-day package was probably just enough to get a taste of what Egypt has to offer. The food on board was tasty with many, many choices for each meal and the service on board was very, very good - and Movenpick ice-cream is Joy's favourite so that was a bonus!!
