Day 03: Aswan tour – Train to Luxor

Arrival at Aswan Railway station. Meet our local tour manager and your qualified Egyptologist tour guide to start your tour visiting the High dam and further to the island of Agilkia which we reach with the motorboat then finally visit the exquisite Temple complex of Isis at Philae. Today this "Island from the time of Re" floats like a jewel in a pool of royal blue. Meeting with your tour manager to transfer you to Aswan Station for your Sitting Train to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor station you will meet our local representative to transfer you to your hotel for check in.

Evening: Optional attending to the Sound and Light Show in Karnak Temple. This spectacle will take about 75-minutes, first taking you around the temple grounds, with the last act playing while you are seated along the Great Sacred Lake. Day 04: Full day Luxor tour – Train to Cairo (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Meeting with your qualified Egyptologist tour guide to start your full day tour. Luxor offers the greatest collection of historical buildings in Egypt. Crossing the amazing Nile to the West Bank, the area the Ancient Egyptians called the "Land of the Dead". We start at the Valley of the Kings, with Its beautiful tombs. 7.00 A.M Meeting with your qualified Egyptologist tour guide and driver for early morning trip to Alexandria , ancient capital of Egypt during Greco-Roman era, to visit the Library, In 48 BC, the Library and at least 40,000 scrolls were burnt when Caesar attacked the city (during the Alexandrian war). The Library has now risen from the ashes of antiquity to be once more as a cultural center and a focal point for knowledge not Egypt, but for the world as a whole. The Catacombs , are the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, then to Pompey's Pillar, which was the only monument left standing. Day 6   Disembarkation - Seated train to Cairo (B)  
Disembarkation after breakfast. Free at leisure. Optional day tour to the East bank of the Nile to visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor.

Late afternoon: Transfer to Luxor rail station to travel back to Cairo. Overnight aboard train

Day 7   Private Cairo tour  
Meet and assist by our Cairo rep. at the rail station. Transfer to your hotel for storing luggage. Full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, with the finest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world including the gold Mask of Tutankhamon found in his tomb. Onwards to The Citadel of Saladin, One of Cairo's major attractions then to the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the founder of Modern Egypt during the ottoman era. And finally to Coptic Cairo . There you can walk where Mary and Josef walked thousands of years ago. Visit the Hanging Church, also known as the church of virgin Mary, the Church of St. Sergius and The Ben Ezra Jewish Synagogue.Back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 08  Final departure
Breakfast at your hotel.
Transfer to
 Cairo airport to fly back home.
