1-You should evaluate a few travel agents before settling for one travel agent. Your choice should be based on quality of hotels and reviews and price.

2-Choose a travel agent who has good reputation and answer all your queries and concerns.

3-Check the internet and blog pages for good feedback. Choose a good tour operator to handle your safaris , all excursions and air /train tickets. In certain instances the travel agent does not function as tour operator.

4-Check the payment policies,payment methods and the policy for cancellations. A good company should not ask you for more than 40-50% of tour price in advance.

5-Check the travel agents service levels, if you run into problems you should be able to contact your travel agent easily.

6-A good travel agent will always warn you of the dangers, disadvantages and the advantage before hand.

7-A good travel agent will not try to simply sell a plane ticket but a memorable holiday experience to enjoy, stress free.

8-Check the travel agents reputation and feedback posted in Trip Advisors by other travelers.

Franda said "You will love the Sonesta. It is definitely a five star cruise ship.the Sonesta is truly top notch. we were on the Star Goodess and it was really nice. I booked the Mozart room, upper deck and was very satisfied. It was wonderful and very quiet. Meal time is a beautiful buffet-type meal with wonderful salads and dinner options. If you are on a special diet, just let them know and they will fix whatever you need. Also, if you have something on the buffet one night that you really love and it is not available the next night, they will honestly make it for you if you mention it to your table captain. There is assigned seating so you always know your table will be available. We chose to dress casually for dinner but other than bathing suits anything is probably okay. I think you would feel more comfortable in casual slacks or skirt. We were on the Moon Goodess and it was really nice. There are not many people on the ship so that makes it even better. All the rooms have balconies and that is nice for the one day that you are sailing most of the day.

This was a FANTASTIC experience. Food, crew, river scenery, daily sightseeing tours and guide were all incredible. We were the only three passengers . These smaller boats can anchor in out-of-the-way spots on the Nile where bigger boats can't, so every night was quiet and peaceful. One night we had a bonfire and dinner right on the riverbank, treated to ethnic singing and drumming by the crew while we ate. It's a placid river and for those concerned, I don't think you could get any motion sickness. Jasmine is the most luxurious and alluring cruise Dahabeyya of its kind. The countryside beautiful beyond belief and the three-night, four-day package was probably just enough to get a taste of what Egypt has to offer. The food on board was tasty with many, many choices for each meal and the service on board was very, very good - and Movenpick ice-cream is Joy's favourite so that was a bonus!! I can thoroughly recommend the Royal Lily and you were true to your word and provided us with a room on the top floor so thank you!! "
